Do You Want a Starter Database along with
Oracle Software?
For a starter database, the installer
automatically launches the Database Configuration Assistant
(DBCA) at the end of installation. To have Oracle create a
pre-configured database, choose among the following database
types:

Installing a database at this time is not
required. The Database Configuration Assistant (DBCA) can be
invoked later in order to complete the process. More details on
using DBCA will be given later in this chapter.
