Network
Configurations
Standard network configuration was used. The NIC
cards where 1 Gigabit and, along with the network switches, were
commercial off-the-shelf variety in use in Oracle shops worldwide. All
network settings were shown in the previous section showing the output
from the Linux env command.
While for this test, network configuration wasn’t
as critical as for a Real Application Cluster test for instance, it
was none the less important to have components that would be standard
components for most Oracle shops.
